Subtopia is located in Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, and is run by culture enthusiasts since its inauguration in 2002. The idea behind Subtopia's existence is to enable cultural and community-building productions at all levels to have a place to show.
The premises of 15,000 square meters have functional spaces for culture of all kinds, such as performances of modern circus, youth activities, urban art, film, entrepreneurship, concerts, exhibitions and other events.
Subtopia has seven rooms, the largest for up to 900 sitting guests or 2500 standing guests. The smallest room accommodates a group of 10 people.
